The ACEs, four members of this wise and holy order, swore an oath on sacred black stone to never let the blood of innocents turn red the rivers of Tilt Forest, to never let the hearts of Kings and Queens be poisoned by bitter rivalry, to let the Odds, the divine keepers of fate, reign over these lands with a just hand. They came humbly to this promise, servants to the Odd Sisters. But promises are made to be broken.

In the Spade Capital of Preston, the young and foolish Prince Jack of Spades leads an army of loyal and merry comrades deep into the heart of the territory of the rebellious Euchre, determined to bring their leader, the dastardly Knave of Spades, to justice. With the Spade Prince gone, little stands in the way of the conniving Ace of Spades and his true goal: a throne to rule all thrones.
